“Hell, there are no rules here; we’re trying to accomplish something.” — Thomas Edison
Months ago, I wrote an article about my trading rules that I developed overtime and keep honing with experience. Today, I will talk about important thoughts that compliment my views about trading.
1. Learning how to trade successfully takes dedication, perseverance and hard work. Those seeking shortcuts are doomed to failure. Don’t compare yourself with others and keep your expectations in line. Slow and steady wins the race. Trading is a marathon, not a sprint. Crawl before you walk and walk before you run. Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration.*
Only through experience and extensive practice and application, understanding and expertise arise.
